Murder mysteries, monsters, magical mushroom houses that look suspiciously like … well. Don’t forget the rival wrestlers, and bug loving baronet quarreling with his smuggler prince.
I’ve read the entire Monstrous series already in ebook form, but the audiobooks are new to me and recently hit Hoopla (okay I’ve listened to the first one twice) and I finally got a paperback of Soul Eater so I read and annotated that. And this is actually my second listen (this year) of Secret Lives of Country Gentleman. The rest are new to me though, and I highly enjoyed them all.

Sometimes Threads can be a gold mine, last week there was a show off your queer book cover trend popping off and I collected so many! Lots of indies here, but not all.

Lesbian Visibility Week is here with a slash! Here for the lesbians with dangerous tendencies and a trail of bodies in their wake.

April is SA Awareness Month, and I wanted to feature characters who have survived and healed from their traumas. There are a few here that are incredibly dear to me, and a few more recommended to me by friends.
A Strange and Stubborn Endurance, and The Last Sun, are especially close to my heart.

The Trans Rights Readathon is putting on a Stuff Your Kindle event, which The Voice of Wild Places is a part of! You can visit the spreadsheet here which has the links to all the books available, just for today and tomorrow.

For absolutely no reason at all. 🖕👑

It’s still Trans Rights Readathon time! Hitting you with books I haven’t recommended before, or not nearly enough. A hearty mix of trans characters and/or authors, with a wide range of genres. Hence, the chaos.

Tomorrow is the first day of Trans Rights Readathon ! 🏳️⚧️📚
When I decided to make a stack I didn’t think I had that many books with gender fckry characters and/or authors, but apparently I was wrong. There’s a handful here I haven’t read or am working my way through, and am hoping the readathon will help me get through my TBR a little bit.
Have you read any of these?

Women, am I right?
A collection of books with trans women or transfemme leads, not all authors may be transfemme but most are.
The Trans Rights Readathon is almost upon us, it begins on the 17th.
