There are a ton of queer Black stories coming out this year, so some of these aren’t out yet or recently came out, while others have been around for a bit now.
I’m looking forward to The Feywild Job in particular, and I must finish A Master of Djinn! Some of my absolute favorites are Black Leopard, Red Wolf, and The Sorcerer of the Wildeeps.

Apparently I can’t be trusted to make just one rainbow stack. It’s not my fault I have more queer books than not, and I feel bad leaving any of them out of the picture.
Even still, there are about half a dozen that didn’t make the cut, like the rest of a series etc.

I love when it’s a story within a story, like when the character speaks directly to the reader or a scribe recounts events. One way or another, the fourth wall is broken and the reader is drawn into the world.

Huzzah, a Trans Books for Pride Promo! There are nearly 70 books with trans characters or by trans authors brought together all in one place, including mine which is on sale.

I tried to narrow this down. I really did. Instead you get 54 of my favorite queer books, not including the series many of these are attached to.
Also some of these authors I’ve read their entire backlist or close to it, so I didn’t include all of them. (Looking at you, Allie Therin, KJ Charles, Cat Sebastian, Lily Mayne, Foz Meadows, Tavia Lark)
Do we have any in common?

Pre-gaming Pride Month with a Queer Anthologies rec post!
I used to not enjoy short stories because I get too attached to characters and have a hard time letting them go in such a short time, but I’ve read five of these and really like short stories and anthologies now!

May is for Mental Health Awareness, which is especially close to my heart. Here is a list of queer books to read not only this month, but all year.
Many, if not all, of my main characters are living with mental illness.

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! Here are some queer reads to get you going.

Murder mysteries, monsters, magical mushroom houses that look suspiciously like … well. Don’t forget the rival wrestlers, and bug loving baronet quarreling with his smuggler prince.
I’ve read the entire Monstrous series already in ebook form, but the audiobooks are new to me and recently hit Hoopla (okay I’ve listened to the first one twice) and I finally got a paperback of Soul Eater so I read and annotated that. And this is actually my second listen (this year) of Secret Lives of Country Gentleman. The rest are new to me though, and I highly enjoyed them all.
